Blacksmith's credo

Force  majeure -  An old crack in the material can double the workload when renovating old ironwork, your
back- the weak body part of blacksmiths- fails sometimes, or the nature may unexpectedly show its power.

A  force majeure  event occurred in Tartu in April 2010, when high water pushed the River Emajõgi over its banks. The buildings in which  the barge was building built, including the smithy, looked like  barge houses surrounded by open water. 12 cm of water flowed into the smithy, swelling the wooden blocks of the floor so that it no longer fit between the walls...  The blocks had to be picked out of the water and dried for a few months before I could rebuild the floor.
