The bench on the slope of the Elva Song Festival Grounds dedicated to two distinguished choirmasters was initially supposed to be forged. Having inspected the site, it became clear that the black iron and the nature of an ironwork did not go with the monument of Ants Sööt just a stone’s throw away at all. Thus, the bench was made of stainless steel and oak and seated on a fractured granite base. The motif of a tuning fork, pla-ques with the names of the choirmasters, and an extract from a song which was close to their hearts stand out in the design. The bench was made in collaboration with Choosday OÜ.
